About the festival

A festival-circuit around the medieval "cité": contemporary artists take over courtyards and gardens, creating a link between their modern creations and the heritage of this classic hill top village.

2000 candles light your way from one event to another, and each is a continuous performance. Join in the interactive events.

At your own pace, enter the mysterious world of this open air performance.

Dancers, musicians, photographers, painters, performance artists ... all contribute through their originally created works to the dream-like atmosphere which has already amazed and enchanted some 20,000 visitors. Images are projected onto walls and pavements, and on banners stretching across the streets. For 3 hours, step outside time into an intimate and mysterious world. Suitable for all ages. Wheelchair access to approx 3/4 of the festival venues.
