1/ Throughout the circuit

The medieval cité is transformed into an intimate, dreamlike journey along candle-lit paths. Giant projected images line the streets and the details of the finest medieival facades are highlighted. And meet musicians, dancers, video artists, and performers on your way

WALKING WITH IMAGES

"From earth to light"

 Bernard Tauran

Life springing from a fertile earth towards the light. A photoscenographic interpretation throughout the festival circuit: projections on the façades of buildings, on pavements, and on giant curtains across the streets.

Bernard Tauran is co founder of the festival with Bernadette Bessières. He started his career as a wild life photographer and still maintains a close link with nature. For over 10 years, his work has focused also on the built environment and the urban space, illuminating historic buildings and designing giant projections, including in heritage sites (Beaulieu Abbey, Bretenoux Castle, the Valentré bridge in Cahors, … ) in listed sites such as the medieval cité of Rocamadour.
